Promoting the Flossy Lifestyle to Influencers
Sometimes the big idea is a combination of small strategic efforts. Through a mix of traditional public relations and social media outreach, Halo introduced Flossy, a bohemian Ibiza-born footwear brand, to the American marketplace.
We wrapped these fun plimsoles alongside Flossy’s signature music, cocktails, and style guide, and shipped them off to highly visible fashion and lifestyle editors and bloggers across the country, encouraging recipients to share Flossy shoes with their social media followers and fans. To expand the website launch even further, Halo created the #FlossyAWeekSweepstakes that gave new fans a chance to win pairs of Flossy’s during the life of the campaign.
The Success
In one month, the campaign garnered over 100 media requests from top-tier fashion publications such as Elle, StyleBistro, Accessories Magazine, and The Gloss. #FlossyAWeekSweepstakes was retweeted by well-recognized fashion and lifestyle bloggers and twitter users to well over a half-million followers.
