Denise serves as Chief Communications Officer and Executive Producer for The Halo Group. A forty-year veteran of the communications field, Denise has rich and varied experiences creating original content for almost any medium, including advertising, journalism, public relations, broadcast, social and digital media.
A serial entrepreneur and storyteller, Denise excels at producing stories that allow everyday people to share aspects of their lives. Additionally, she has narrative and docu-series projects in development for film and broadcast in a variety of genres.
In her life before Halo, Denise was a feature and investigative journalist, and served as Managing Editor for Appleton-Century-Crofts, the oldest publishing firm in New York. She also founded Goldenwords, an independent content consultancy.
Denise is an active member of the President’s Council and of the Advisory Board of the McGowan School of Business at King’s College, her alma mater. In 2008, she was honored with the College Alumni Award for Outstanding Professional Achievement. Denise was an 11-year board member of Virtual High School, an international leader in education. She is also a member of the Independent Film Project.
