#BigGameBingo 2016: Play The Bigger Game During The Big Game

Play Halo’s Bigger Game About the Big Game

One of the biggest events of the year is right around the corner, The Big Game.

Last year’s Super Bowl posted its highest-ever overnight rating from Nielsen with an average of 114.4 million viewers—which means a record percentage of homes with a TV were tuned into the game. We wait all season for these few hours of passes and plays, surrounded by chips and dip, hot wings, beer, and of course those 30-second advertisements for which advertisers will pay a record breaking $5 million, making it the most expensive TV program for advertisers in history, up 11% from 2015.

We marketers believe this is the bigger game at play. According to Forbes, 50% of people prefer the ads over the actual game, and many reported that their conversations in person, and online, have centered around ads. In fact, last year’s Super Bowl was the most tweeted game ever, with 28.4 million tweets containing terms related to the game and ads. Engagement was at its highest during the Budweiser and McDonald’s ads, and McDonald’s had the most mentions during the live window of the game per Twitter’s count.

The Halo Group’s Big Game Bingo, now in it’s third year, features some of this year’s most anticipated advertisers. So stop your Netflix and Chill and bring out this party essential you can’t do without!
